McKAY, IDA - 1913 - 2012 - Ida McKay passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Lakeview Manor, Riverview. Born in Marysville, NB on August 14, 1913, daughter of the late Alfred and Letitia (Foster) Taylor. She will be sadly missed by two sons; Myron McKay of Fredericton, Ron Jr. (Jane) of Kingston, NS, two daughters; Elizabeth Stewart of Riverview and Judy Webster of Moncton. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Ida was predeceased by her husband Ronald McKay (1999), one daughter, Barbara MacFarlane, two granddaughters; Wendy and Terri-Lynn as well as a sister, Jean Corey. Ida was a member of Mount Royal United Church and also a member of the U.C.W.
In respect with Ida's wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 11:00 am followed by interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances in Ida's memory may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lakeview Manor.
