Passed peacefully away at Admirals Coast Retirement Residence, Kelligrews, on January 3, 2012, George Jacobs, aged 94 years, was a long time member of Topsail United Church. Predeceased by his wife Betty (nee Greenslade). George leaves to mourn daughters: Bonnie (Robert Richards), and Lorna (Terry Lindstrom); loved and cherished grandchildren: Adele (Matt Box), Natasha (Mike Dwyer), Jacqueline (Rod Scott), Robert (Sara Carson), and Angela; great-grandchildren: Kyle, Sawyer, Anna and Ella; as well as a large circle of friends, including residents and staff of Admirals Coast. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Thursday, January 5th and Friday, January 6th, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service to take place at Topsail United Church on Saturday, January 7th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. A double interment of both George and Betty (November, 2010), will follow at Topsail United Cemetery.
