It is with great sadness that we announce that Gertrude (Trudi) Erna Lepin, who was born on May 27, 1919 in Graudenz, Germany died on November 20, 2009 at the age of 90.

Trudi was predeceased by her husband Fred Lepin who died in 1984, and her daughter Shirley Gaertner (Wilf), who died in 2001.

Trudi Lepin is survived by her son Kenneth Lepin of Kamloops (Maureen), and her daughter Bonnie Lepin of Ladner (Jane Watkins), her grandchildren, Paul Gaertner (Laura) of Saskatoon, Jordan (Faith) Gaertner of Edmonton, Melodee Bartel (Phil) of Mississauga, Heather Lepin of Coquitlam, Ronald Lepin of New York City, her step grandchildren, Erin Watkins Davies (Dale Davies) and David Watkins, five great grandchildren and her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 4755 Arthur Drive in Ladner on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. She will be interred at Lakeview Cemetery in Penticton on Saturday, November 28, 2009. Delta Funeral Home presiding.
