Anne Snow (Kuba) of Ottawa, Ont., formerly of Sydney, Cape Breton, N.S., passed away peacefully Christmas morning at the Ottawa General Hospital.
Anne had a wonderful few days with her close family and friends sharing secrets and laughs. And few tears of the healing kind, new friends of the most compassionate kind.
Thank you Dr. Drodge along with Jessica, Pat and Emily; our family thanks you so much for your tenderness and care.
Anne lost her husband, Fredrick Snow, at a very young age and struggled as a single mom with her two children. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Laurie Snow (Kurt Letemplier); grandchildren, Tyler, Jesse and Cassidy of Aylmer, Que. and her son, Bernie Snow (Alaina Stott); grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Morgan and Mitchell of Hamilton, Ont.
Twenty eight years ago Anne met the love of her life Fred Norman and the two became inseparable.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, Tina and Andrew Kuba and brother, Harry.
Survived by Kaye (Frank Wilkinson), John, Olga (Harley Hill), Michael (Lynn), Wanda, and very dear friend Claire Bickerton.
