Veronica passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Veronica was born in Prince Albert on June 23, 1927. She enjoyed her life on the farm in White Star. She was an active member of the community, always ready to lend a hand. She was never afraid of hard work and always did more than her share. Veronica was a warm, caring person and was very proud of all her grandchildren. Veronica was known for her extraordinary Christmas Lights display that she took great pride and pleasure in planning every year. She always had a cup of tea for everyone, even all her honourary grandchildren. Veronica had time to talk to everyone and always had a story or two to share. Veronica is survived by her husband, of 61 years, William (Bill) Ferchuk, her daughter Beverly (Doug) Morash, grandchildren Trevor (Sharla James) Morash, Tyson (Shari Palmer) Morash, Trina (Bryan) Shewchuk, Tracey (Matthew) Beaven, great grandchildren Shyanna & Nikala Morash, Cody & Jessica Morash, Cole & Braden Shewchuk, Tayt & Baya Beaven, her sister Ramona Pyche, brothers-in-law Ken Pyche, Nick Skakivitch, John Ferchuk and friend Vera, Joe (Margaret) Ferchuk, sisters-in-law Lee Arnold, Kay Truba, Verna (Gus) Radis and Roberta Ferchuk and special friend Eva Morash. Veronica was predeceased by her parents Joe & Emily McArdle, sister Pat Pyche, brother-in-law Ed Pyche, father & mother-in-law Alex & Mary Ferchuk and brothers-in-law Nick Ferchuk, Wes Arnold, George Truba, Lawrence Schell and sister-in-law Sonja Skakivitch. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 26 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Margaret Ferchuk will officiate.
