On Thursday, January 5, 2012, Allan peacefully left this world with his loving family at his side. Allan will be sadly missed by his children: Beverly (Maurice), Barry (Brenda) and Brenda-Lee; mother of his children, Catherine Wells; grandchildren: Heather (Jason) and Ryan; great grandson, Charlie Allan; brother, Foster (Mirley); sisters: Jessie and Florence (James); sisters-in-law: Ada (Malcolm) and Delores; and brother-in-law Darius (Ina). He will also be missed by a large circle of family and friends, especially those at Mountainview House. Allan was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Hannah Banks, brothers Alfred and Frederick, and sister Mildred. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2:30 pm, with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery in Meadows. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cox’s Cove Wellness Foundation.
