The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, January 6, 2012 of Colin MacDougall of Warren Grove and formerly of Montague, age 89.
Colin was the loving husband of the late Nelsena MacDougall (nee Buchanan); the beloved father of Leona MacLure, Windsor (Linda), Wayne (Liette Couturier), Shirley MacNaughton (Bruce) and Vincent (Marina); the cherished grandfather of Andrea, Julie, Miles and Diana; Joshua, Jordan, Andrew and Elizabeth; Kyle, Richard and Gabriel; and Lauren and Emily; and the great-grandfather of Mikaela, Naomi, Vivienne, Chloe, Charles, Olivia, Jesse, Scarlette and Londyn. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Marg MacDougall; nephew, Donald Conrad (Mary); and niece, Lisa Dunphy (Joe). Besides his wife, Nelsena, he was predeceased by his parents, Campbell and May Belle (MacEachern) MacDougall; his sister, Catherine Conrad; and brother, Kenny.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, from where the funeral will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will take place Monday, from 1:30 p.m. till time of funeral. Interment at a later date in Bangor, P.E.I.
