FOOTE, DOROTHY MAE (SHAW)
(LITTLE) - Dorothy Mae (Shaw) (Little) Foote, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in White’s Cove, NB on July 13, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ella (Hovey) Shaw. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband of 43 years George S. Little; second husband Jack R. Foote; brothers Calvin Shaw and Fred Shaw; sisters Goldie Titus, Ethel Webb, Ruth O’Leary, Hilda Curran, Margaret Chamberlain and Olive McQuinn. She is survived by her daughters Ann Macaulay of Toronto , Brenda MacDonald (Tim) of Sackville, NB and Jennifer Guy of Alberta; sons James Michaud-Little (Line) of Fredericton and Edward Little of Saint John; step daughters Nester Finlayson, Iris Foote and Nedris Foote; step-son Steven Foote; grandchildren Katherine Little, Kevin Little (Bridgette), Joseph Little, Jeffery Little, Elaine MacDonald, Gordon MacDonald (Melanie), Robyn Guy, Meagan Guy and Zachery Guy; step grandsons David Finlayson, John Foote, Steven Foote; step granddaughter Fern Foote; great grandchildren Jeremy Dumas, Connor Little, Ryan Little, Cameron Little, Michelle Little, Elizabeth Little and Alexis MacDonald.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
