FLYNN, John Benedict (Jack) — Passed peacefully away on Thursday, January 5th, 2012, John Benedict (Jack) Flynn, after 95 years of a wonderful, fulfilling life. Predeceased by Isabelle, his wife of 58 years, brothers Joseph, James, Thomas, William and Kevin, sisters Helen and Mary (Burridge). Leaving to mourn his loving and caring daughters: Helen Marie (Sandy) Roche and Barbara (Frank) O’Dea and his cherished grandchildren: Alexandra Roche, Frankie (Jennifer) O’Dea, Jennifer (Colin) Jackman, Daniele (Chris) Patey, Jonathan (Jamie) O’Dea, Heather (Neal) Jackman, Allison (Jeffrey) Locke and Regan (Stacey) O’Dea. “Poppy Jack” will also always be fondly remembered by his ten great-grandchildren whom he considered his entertainment, Jack, Isabelle, Patrick, Mary Kate, Cian, Thomas, Bella, Reese, Daniel and Meredith. Also leaving to mourn sister Margaret O’Keefe and brother Nick Flynn; sisters -in-law Esther Flynn and Doris Malone, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, January 9th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Vera Perlin Society or a Charity of one’s choice.
