Dad was born on May 1, 1940 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He worked as a steamfitter (pipe fitter) at the Weyerhaeuser Pulp Mill for 28 years. He loved his trade and the time that he worked for the mill. His coworkers were his friends. Dad loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, camping, curling and winter vacations in Mexico.
Family Reunions in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan were Dad's favourite family events and he cherished every moment spent with his brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. The Pellerin family history was a passion of dads and he told us many stories from his research.
Dad loved to socialize with friends and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, The Lions International (Paddle Wheelers of Kamloops) and the Pulp, Paper and Woodworking Union of Canada, Local 10.
Dad will be laid to rest at a Family Graveside Service in Albertville, Saskatchewan. A Celebration of Life with family and friends will be held at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Hall, 755 Tranquille Rd, Kamloops, BC on November 28, 2009 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.
We miss you Dad.
