Oliva LeBlanc
LeBLANC, OLIVA - Oliva LeBlanc of Foyer Saint Thomas (Formerly of St-Joseph) passed away on January 6, 2012 at her residence at the age of 94. Born September 9, 1917 in St-Joseph, she was the daughter of the late Lucien Leger and the late Evangeline LeBlanc. She is survived by her two daughters, Denise (late Bernard) LeBlanc of Breau Creek and Thérèse LeBlanc of Belliveau Village, three sons, Francis (Joanne) LeBlanc of Little Dover Rd, Normand (Odette) LeBlanc of Dieppe, Charles LeBlanc of St-Joseph, two brothers, Father Guy Léger c.s.c. of Moncton and Joseph Edouard Léger of St-Joseph, two grandchildren: Joline and Patrick, three great grandchildren: Maxime, Mélanie and Madelene and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar (1975), one sister Lydianne and by six brothers Charles-Auguste, Alban, Lorenzo, Paul-Eudore, Léonard and Héribert.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Sunday, January 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and there will be no visitation before the funeral. Funeral mass will be held at St-Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Monday, January 9 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
