RICHARD, EUGENE - (1924-2012) - ST. IGNACE, NB - Eugene Richard, 87, of St. Ignace passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, St. Louis on Saturday, January 7th, 2012. Born in St. Ignace he was the son of the late Albert and late Mélina (Barrieau) Richard. Before retiring, Eugene worked as a carpenter. He attended St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace. Euguene will be sadly missed by is wife; Rosalie (née Gallant) Richard, one daughter; Eva Robichaud (Pierre) of Aldouane, five sons; Roger of Oshawa, Blair (Chrysta) of Calgary, Donald (Gloria) of Rexton, Aubert (Annette) of Dartmouth, Louis-Emile (Marcia) of St. Ignace, eight grandchildren; Marc, Isabelle, Marie-France, Rémi, Milaine, Rebecca, Alistair and Dustin, two sisters; Jeanne Babineau (Léopold) of Richibouctou-Village, Alfreda Richard (late Léo) of Rogersville, one brother; Elizée of St. Louis and many nieces and nephews. Eugene was predeceased by ten brothers and sisters; Donat, Willie, Delphine, Alma, Arthur, Camille, Léo, Dolor, Lorraine and Roger.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Wednesday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 at 11:00 am, St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace.
