PICARD, MINNIE - 1918 – 2012 - Minnie Picard, 93 of Bouctouche, wife of the late Alphonse Picard (1992), passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Sunday January 8th, 2012. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on January 29th, 1918, she was the daughter of the late David and the late Victorine (Allain) Richard. She will be sadly missed by her three daughters; Murielle Gallant and Alphonsine Picard of Bouctouche and Anne-Marie Jacob (Raymond) of Dieppe, her three grandchildren, Ann-Marie, Lisa and Maurice, and her five great grandchildren, Mitchell, Jake, Ryan, Sarah and Nathan. She also leaves to mourn her three sisters; Lizzie-Anne Boudreau (Late Gerard) of Dieppe, Catherine Boudreau (Antoine) of Bouctouche, and Noëlla Richard of Assomption, Qu., her three brothers; Régis (Joan) of Pickering, ON, Dolphée (Rose-Mai) of Waltham, MA, and Benoit (Marie) of Moncton, two sisters in law, Jeannette and Imelda, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her two sons; Louis Alfred (1991), and Bertin (2007), two sisters; infant Rose and Dorilla, and four brothers; infant Lionel, Aurèle, Emile and Lionel.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 from 1 to 3:45. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home, on Wednesday at 4:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Minnie’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundatoin, Moncton.
