ARSENEAU, MICHEL - (1961 - 2012) - Tracadie-Sheila - In Rothesay, on Thursday January the 5th 2012, at the age of 50, passed away Michel Arseneau, husband of Gérène Surette, residing in Rothesay, but formerly of Tracadie-Sheila. Born on November the 10th, he was the son of Aldrice ‘Joe’ Arseneau and of Eunice Savoie. Besides his parents and wife, he will be missed by his two sons: Sacha (Meghan Silliker) and Yoann (Stéphanie Pretty); two sisters: Isabelle (Guy) of Tracadie-Sheila and Denise (Ken) of Moncton; one brother: Arthur (Sylvie) of Tracadie-Sheila; his mother-in-law: Edmée Surette; four brothers-in-law: Bobby (Lillian Evans), Rodrigue (Joy Landry), Dolan (Huguette Michaud) and Conrad; three sisters-in-law: Hedwidge (Ronald Gaudet), Carmel (Allard Léger) and Bernette (Léonard Goguen). He will also be missed by his nephews and nieces: Christian, Nathaël, Michaël, Izmaël (Mélanie and Nadege), Josué, Philippe, Olivier, Serge, Mélanie, Gémaël, Mylène, Geneviève, Caroline and Janelle; as well as many cousins, and friends. M. Arseneau was predeceased by his father-in-law: Robert Surette; one brother-in-law: Claude Surette and one sister-in-law: Rachel Surette.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the ‘La Colombe’ Funeral Home, 667, Saulnier Ouest road, Tracadie-Sheila, Monday, January 9th at 2pm. Funerals will be held at the St-Jean-Baptiste & St-Joseph RC Church in Tracadie-Sheila, Tuesday, January 10th at 11am. Visiting hours: Monday January 9th from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm, and on Tuesday, January 10th from 9:30am until the departure for the funerals. A donation to Mind Care NB would be appreciated.
