Lydia Allain
ALLAIN, LYDIA - 1926 - 2012 - Lydia Allain, 85 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Sunday January 8th, 2012. She was married to the late Aurele Allain (1963) and the late Gerard Allain (2009). Born in Caraquet on April 9th, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Phillippe and the late Emely (Arsenault) LeCouteur.
She will be sadly missed by her seven children; Doris Corns (Ed) of Oshawa, ON, Imelda Allain (Henry Vautour) of Minto, Jeannette Maillet, Bernard (Marguerite), and Leo-Paul of Bouctouche, Joseph Désiré (Berthe) of Cocagne and Gerald (Emilia) of Waltham, fourteen Grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons; Roger and Laurie.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday from 7 to 9, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Thursday, January 12th, 2012 at 2:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Lydia’s memory donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the Children’s Wish Foundation. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
