MAZEROLLE, ALINE (née GALLANT) - (1937-2012) - RICHIBUCTO, NB - Aline Mazerolle 74, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital on Monday, January 9th, 2012. Born in Little Aldouane, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Marie-Louise (Robichaud) Gallant. Aline attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto and was member of the Richibucto Golden Age Club. Aline will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 47 years; Fernand Mazerolle of Richibucto, her mother; Marie-Louise Gallant of the Villa Maria, her daughter; Denise Mourant (Paul) of Rexton, her son; Claude Mazerolle (Brenda) of East Galloway, three grandchildren; Stéphanie, Chantal and Cory Mourant, one step sister; Sr. Thérèse Gallant (Dorca) of Montreal, Quebec and several nieces and nephews. Aline was predeceased by her father; Napoleon, one brother; Hubert and one step brother; Paul.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Thursday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 12th, 2012 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, donations to the Parkinson Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit, Dumont Hospital for their very kind and compassionate care of Aline.
