We, the family of the late Lorraine (Druggett) Mouland would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our relatives, friends and neighbours for their love and support at our difficult time. To all who, prepared and sent food, visited, sent charitable donations, mass and sympathy cards, emails and phoned us with condolences, we are sincerely grateful for all your displays of kindness. A special thanks to Dr. Chris Lawand and Dr. Tom Hewlett for the special attention paid to Mom over the years as she underwent so many surgeries and hospital stays. Thank you to the staff of the VON and the special nurses Mom was on a weekly basis. As well, special thanks to the Cape Breton County Homemakers who assisted in helping mom to maintain her independence in her own home. Thank you all, so very much for being there for her, as her friend and support persons. To the staff of the Renal Clinic and Dialysis Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Mom thought of you as extended family. She could always count on you for assistance and answers to even the slightest problem or question regarding her health. To the staff of the Emergency Dept., ambulance attendants - EMS, nursing staff and doctors of Cape Breton Regional Hospital 4A, and An Cala Palliative Care Unit 4E, thank you. Thank you to Rev. Wade Reppert of First United Church for his blessings, visit to our home and the celebration of Mom’s life at the funeral home. To Wayne Weatherbee and staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel, we thank you for your compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. Mom had touched so many lives with her generosity, kindness and compassion and only expected one to pay it forward. If there is anyone we may have overlooked please accept our sincerest gratitude for being there for us during our bereavement.
Sincerely Marion, Philip and Brian and families
