It is with saddened hearts the family of Annie O'Connor announce her passing on May 13, 2008, in her 78th year, originally from Cape Wolfe, P.E.I. Beloved wife of Alfred. Cherished mother of Donna (Bill); Maureen (Joseph); Raymond (Janet); Alan (Angie); devoted grammie of Breanne (Ryan); and James and Matthew. Great-grammie of Kaylee and Keira. Annie will be greatly missed by Hamilton, Ont.; William, Halifax, N.S.; Howard, New Glasgow, N.S.; Irma Allen, Hamilton, Ont.; Mae (Arthur) Wedge, Hamilton, Ont.; James (Janet), Burton, P.E.I.; Eileen (Dale) McKenna, Elmsdale, P.E.I.; Rhoda (Frank) McCarvell; Hamilton, Ont.; by brother-in-law Emmett Griffin, Brocton, P.E.I.; and sisters-in-law Theresa Reilly, Hamilton, Ont; Helen Reilly, Charlottetown, P.E.I.; Laura Stewart and Gertrude (Trudy) Kuhl, O'Leary, P.E.I. Annie was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis Griffin, Brocton, P.E.I.; and brothers, Thomas, Cape Wolfe, P.E.I.; Charles, Halifax, N.S.; Vernon, O'Leary, P.E.I.; and Willis, Hamilton, Ont. Also predeceased by sisters and brothers-in-law Hazel, Charlottetown, P.E.I.; Laura, Halifax, N.S.; Marie, Dartmouth, N.S.; Eunice and Carol O'Halloran and Ella and James O'Halloran of Cape Wolfe, P.E.I.; Edward and Bridget O'Connor, St. Margarets, N.B.; Arthur O'Connor, Hamilton, Ont.; and Daniel O'Connor, Cape Wolfe, P.E.I. She will also be missed by a host of nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. The family received friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home in Hamilton, Ont., on Thursday, May 15, 2008. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Margaret Mary Church on Friday, May 16, at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the Resurrection Cemetery.
