Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home, Clarke’s Beach on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, Mrs. Lillian Maude Kennedy of Port de Grave, aged 85 years. Predeceased by parents Christopher and Mary (nee Peddle) Upshall; husband Clayton Kennedy; daughter Nancy; sisters: Bertha (Harold) Haley, Lizzie (John) Smith, Elsie (Jim) Waugh, Providence (Walter) Hann; brothers: Reuben (Doris) Upshall, George Upshall, Silas (Etta) Upshall, Charles Upshall. Leaving with cherished memories sons: John (Pearleen), St. John’s, Charles (Judy), Otterbury, Jacob, Coley’s Point, George (Pansy), Foxtrap, Gary (Judy Pinksen), Clarke’s Beach; daughters: Elizabeth (Dave) Noble, Bathurst, NB, Nellie (Clarence) Strowbridge, Pasadena, NL, Carolann Kennedy (Rev. Bill Bartlett), Mount Pearl; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Port de Grave. Visitation Wednesday 3-9 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Friday 10-12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Port de Grave.
