It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Winnifred (Winnie) Williams passed peacefully into the arms of the angels, surrounded by her loving family at the Palliative Care Unit in the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the age of 78 years. She leaves with fond and loving memories her children: Joseph, Maggie (Scottie) Barry, Alex (Wendy) Williams, Denise Williams, Angus (Tracey) Williams and Lorraine (Ray) Gillett. She lived with her granddaughter Michelle (Greg) and great grandson Jesse. Also leaving to mourn sisters: Lillian, Marie, brother Charlie and she also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters whom she loved dearly. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday January 13, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. We invite you to join with the family in a celebration of her life at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday January 14, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. with Father Donald Leonard officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
