GEE, DOROTHY "DIXIE" ALEXANDRA (DUFFY) R.N. - Dorothy "Dixie" Gee, born November 10, 1925 to the late John and Pearl Duffy (Fraser) in Nauwigewauk, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital to join her beloved husband Clifford on January 6, 2012. Loving mother of David Gee of Quispamsis, NB and Brian Gee of Calgary, AB. Fondly remembered mother-in-law of Carla Gee of Dundas, ON. Dear sister of Ruth Moore of Ottawa, ON, David of Nauwigewauk, NB; John of Moncton, NB; Don (Mary-Lou) of London, ON and Louise (Alfred) Burgoyne of Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law to Dorothy Tennant of Parry Sound, ON; predeceased by sister, Marie. Cherished ‘Gram’ of Tasha Taylor (Jeffrey), Matthew (Marianne), Michael (Andrea) all of Ottawa, ON and Shawna (Stuart) of Acton, ON. Loving great-grandmother of Brandi, Jordan, Zachary and Andrew. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dixie will be remembered for her 40 years of service as a registered nurse, particularly for her time at the Kemptville District Hospital. A dedicated volunteer, Dixie had a particular fondness for The Miller’s Oven in Manotick, ON and her fellow sisters at the Rebekah Lodge of Kemptville, ON.
