April 11, 1926 - January 10, 2012. Passed away peacefully at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the age of 85 years of Norman's Cove. Left with fond and lovely memories are five daughters and three sons: Lindsay, Frances Moores, Clifford (Bonnie), Clara Moores (David), Leo (Rosie), Kathleen Hopkins (Peter), Eleanor Piercey (Bernie), Irene Piercey (Shawn); 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; special niece, Pearl Smith and other family and many friends. Predeceased by parents and brothers, husband Gordon 2009, daughter Ivy Piercey Sorenson 2004, son-in-law Peter Moores 2007. Resting at Bethel United Church, Norman's Cove. Visitation Thursday, 7 p.m. - 10 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Norman's Cove.
