Passed peacefully away in his 83rd year at his residence in the presence of his loving wife, Dorothy, of 60 years and family. Predeceased by his infant son John. Left to solemnly commemorate the end of a long and joyous journey are his son Robert (wife Marie-Christine) and children Gaelle and Sebastien), daughter Donna Meeker (husband Steven and children Curtis and Gregory), son David (wife Roseanne and children Briahnna and Keyghan), brother Joseph and many nephews and nieces. Family and friends to bid farewell in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday 10-12, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Friday 10-12 noon from where the Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
