It is with deep regret that we, the family, announce the passing in Ottawa on November 11, 2009, of Sandra McGrath (formerly of Avondale) in her 45th year. Predeceased by her husband, John McGrath, children: Justin and Jessica, her birth parents: Jerome and Josephine Hickey, her parents, Martha and Walter Gorman. Left to celebrate her life are her daughter Megen McGrath (Jared); her siblings: Patrick (Marie), Doreen (Bill), Mary (Clarence), Debbie (Gus), Camilla (Michael), Andre (Tracey), Diane (Matthew), Patrick (Pam), Trish (Brian), Vince and Eleanor; numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. The family will be receiving friends at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood, on Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. There will be a Vigil Memorial Service at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday evening.
