It is with great sadness that we, the family, of Peter John Hawkins, announce his peaceful passing at his home in Brigus South on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 at the age of 72 years. Peter was predeceased by his parents Mary and Bob Hawkins, brother Harold, sister Regina, sister-in- law Ellen Hawkins, brother-in-law Louie Marcotte. Leaving to mourn his loving and caring wife Dorothy of 49 years; sons: Robert (Wendy), Keith (Helen), Pierre (Dianna); daughters; Connie and Cindy (Jim); grandchildren: Robin, Holly, Victoria, Dylan, Madelyn, Caitlin and Nevaeh, and one great- grandson Kobe; brothers: Tom (Doreen) and Don; sisters: Marlene Ettleman (Bob), Matilda Mayse, Anita Armstrong (Louie), Trixie Sullivan (Raymond), Mercedes Tobin (Bren), Mildred Hawkins; brother-in-law Mike Marcotte (Maureen); sister-in-law: Bernadette Marcotte and a large circle of family and friends. He will be sadly missed and forever loved. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Friday, January 13th and Saturday, January 14th from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday, January 15th from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to take place from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle on Sunday, January 15th at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape R.C. Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
