After a courageous battle with a lengthy illness, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.
John passed away peacefully with his family at his side on the morning of Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the age of 76 years.
John will be sadly missed by his wife of 20 years, Llewelyn; son Paul; daughter Sarah (Stephen) Emche; sisters June (Dennis) Foxley and Joan Keely; stepson Jason Polis; stepdaughters Willow Polis and Rebecca (Graham) Rudyk; grandchildren Ryan, Sydney, Hendriks, Callum and Gavin; dear friend Kath Keates; and many relatives and friends the world over.
In accordance with John’s wishes, a service will not be held at this time. A celebration of John’s life will be held June 15, 2012. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Elphinstone Logging Focus (www.loggingfocus.org) or to the charity of your choice
