At Community Hospital O’Leary, on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, Gordon Blair Wallace, beloved husband of June (MacAusland) Wallace, aged 66, of Fortune Cove. Born on Jan. 25, 1943, son of the late Arthur and Daisy (Matthews) Wallace. Loving Father of Glen (Diane), Cascumpec. Father-in-law of Pamela Wallace, Alberton. Cherished grandfather of Shaylyn and Colin. Brother of Verna (Ken) Smallman, Knutsford, Lorne (Lana) Wallace, Unionvale, Byron Wallace (Penny Lee Leshenko), Alta., Gary (Joanne) Wallace, Fortune Cove. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Eloise (Alton) Silliker, Mount Royal, Milton MacAusland (Louise Gallant), Egmont Bay, Joan Mugridge, Alberton, Gerald (Julia) MacAusland, Memramcook, N.B., Ed Mugridge, Freeland, Ken MacIsaac, O’Leary, Jean MacAusland, Unionvale and Carol MacAusland, Ontario. Predeceased by his son Kevin (2008). Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral to be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene. Interment to follow in the Church cemetery. Memorials to the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene Cemetery or O’Leary Community Health Foundation would be appreciated.
