HAWLEY, Joanne Theresa (nee Snow) – November 20, 1956 to November 27, 2009. Passed away in the presence of her loving and devoted family and now enjoying a game of crib with dad in heaven, Joanne (Joey) Theresa Hawley, age 53. Predeceased by her dad Edward; grandmother Margaret Puddicombe and 2 brothers. Leaving to mourn with cherished and loving memories her husband of 29 years Dave; treasured children who were the love of her life, Mark and Vanessa and canine buddy Mindy. Mother Agnes Snow (Charles Barnes) and six sisters: Kay Baird (Dave), Cavell Snow, Frances Snow, Peggy Coughlan (Gary), Linda Breen (Bob), Roxanne Snow and friend Gail Taylor; two brothers: Edward Snow (April) and Ron Snow (Elizabeth). Also, four sisters-in-law: Rosie Gardiner (Wayne), Joss Murphy (Barry), Ann Black (Paul), Sandy Hawley (Bob Holden) and brother-in-law Paul Hawley (Ingrid). Also mourning the loss of their favorite aunt are many nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces whom she treasured dearly and a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Barrett’s Funeral Home, Hamilton Avenue from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, November 28 and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, November 29. Funeral service will take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 30 at St. Teresa’s Parish, Mundy Pond Road. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery on Forest Road. Special thanks to the staff of the Intensive Care Unit at the Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NL Lung Association or the Canadian Transplant Association. She was an inspiration to us all and she would say to her kids ‘Give it all you’ve got because you never know if there’s going to be a next time.’ YEAH DAS RIGHT, DAS ME
