MATTHEWS, Doris (Keats) – Passed peacefully away on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, very special wife, mother and grandmother, Doris Matthews of Musgravetown, aged 75 years. Predeceased by her parents Claude and Lily Keats; her sisters: Joyce and Mavis. Mourning her loss but inspired by her example of courage, quiet determination, and faith are her husband Ralph; her children and their families: Eugene (Donna), Courtney and Whitney; Craig (Jennifer), Andrew, Heidi and Christopher, June (Robert), Gwen (Dennis), Christy and Lacey; her brothers: Hector (Joan), Wallace (Linda); her sister Cavell (Hayward). Her much loved nephews and nieces, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends whose lives she touched in so many ways. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge, Newfoundland. Visitation beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 28th. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, November 29th, Heritage United Church, Musgravetown. In her memory, flowers are gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to Heritage United Church or a children's charity of one’s choice.
