Hazel Marion Bickle
1928-2012
Hazel Marion Bickle, age 83 of Springhill, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the All Saints Hospital, Springhill, after a period of declining health. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Arthur H. and Martha A. (Gilroy) Gilroy.
Hazel enjoyed going to the cottage at Cameron's Beach, playing cards, gardening, keeping a journal and spending time with her family.
Hazel will be sadly missed by her husband, Brian; sons, Alan
(Paulette) Bickle, Halifax and Ron (Wanda) Bickle, Amherst; daughter, Marion (Eric) Devanney, Lower Onslow; five grandchildren, Cindy, Michael, Neil, Adam, and Andrew; one great grandson, Tyler; two nieces, Lynn and Ruth.
She was predeceased by sisters, Eileen, Agnes and Dorothy.
Her funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the St. Andrews-Wesley United Church, Reverend Wayne McCarther officiating.
Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a later date.
