GREG HAWLEY
We would like to thank everyone who helped us in so many ways during this difficult time. Your sincere kindness, friendship, generosity and sympathy will never be forgoten and you will live in our hearts forever. We truly appreciate everyone who offered their thoughts and prayers in person, through Mass and sympathy cards, emails, on-line condolences, donations to various charities and sent meals. Thank you to everyone who travelled to be with us. Special thanks to my wonderful friends at Maple Hill Manor who went over and above to help us during this time. To my very good friend, Roberta Gillis, thanks for being there. It made these sad days easier. Thank you to everyone who visited and spent time with us during the beautiful celebration of Greg's life at St. Leonard's Church, the Funeral Home and at our home. Our sincere appreciation to Father Ray Huntley, Rev. Duncan Roach and Father Victor Ozoufuanya who offered us their support, comfort, prayers and heartfelt Funeral Mass and to the choir of St. Leonard's Church for sharing their beautiful music. We would especially like to thank Pius Burke, Lindsay Dominie, Pat Poirier, Kevin Burke and Bob Burke for their breathtaking musical tribute to Greg. To Pius, my unending appreciation for all you support and help. Greg was very blessed to have such a wonderful friend. Thank you to Sister Ann Marie MacKinnon, Cathy Wilton and Debbie Summerall who offered prayers and scripture readings and to Raylene MacLeod and Andrew MacIsaac who presented the Offertory Gifts. Sincere appreciation to the pall bearers, Dwight Little, David Little, Scott Little, Ray MacIsaac, George MacDonald, Charlie MacLellan, Butchie Chaisson and Pius Burke. Greg would be so touched by how well you did these tasks at such a difficult time. To the musicians who formed the Honor Guard, thank you - I am sure Greg would be so "honored". To the ladies of St. Leonard's, thank you providing a beautiful luncheon after the funeral. Thank you to Paul White for the thoughtful tribute he made to Greg in the Cape Breton Post. Thank you to Basil and staff at McGillivary's Funeral Home for your attention, compassion and professionalism to all our requests. Thank you to the EHS staff for their care on the day Greg passed away. A extra special thank you to all of our family for the unbelievable love and support you give us everyday. To the "Little Littles", no one could ask for any better brothers and sisters. To everyone,You will never know how much all your acts of kindness and thoughtfulness helped us through this difficult journey. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
