Passed away peacefully at the Health Science Centre on Sunday, January 15th, 2012. Michael F. Howley P. Eng., age 87 years, born September 3rd, 1924 in St. John’s. Predeceased by his parents James M. and Mary Howley, brothers James and David Howley and sisters Elizabeth Walsh and Mary Howley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 53 years Mary (Roche) Howley; children: Mike (Donna Leahy), David (Doreen Dearing), John, Mary Anne (Paul Griffin) and Martina (Mike Green), and brother Thomas (Mary). Grandchildren with whom he shared much joy: Michael and Alison Howley; Stephen and Emily Griffin; Julia and Gregory Howley and Erin, Sean, Brigid and Declan Green. As well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at 10 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
