It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elvia Avis White announce her passing on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 80 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Jessie (Marc) Courtois; sons: Milton (Kate), Silas (Pam) and Kirby (Tammy); daughter-in-law Shirley; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Enos, sons: David, Ivan and Robert, grandson Stephen, 2 brothers-in-law. Friends may visit the United Church in Trout River on Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 19 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Trout River United Church Memorial Fund.
