It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Lawrence on the morning of Wednesday, January 12, 2012, at the age of 97 years. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, sister Pauline and the love of his life, Doris. He is survived by his brother Robert (Marion), nieces Karen (Wilf) and Virginia, and nephew Andrew (Melanie) and will be sadly missed by his many friends and relatives.
Lawrence, a Langley pioneer who lived and worked on the family farm the greater part of his life, chose to spend his last years near family in Gibsons. We want to give special thanks to the staff at Christenson Village, his Home Care Nurses and to Dr. McFarland for the compassionate care he received.
Services will be held at St. Andrew’s United in Fort Langley on Wednesday, January 25.
