Passed peacefully away at his home in Kelligrews on Sunday, January 15th, 2012, James Hayhurst, age 72 years. Predeceased by his parents Ray and Lola Hayhurst, his first wife Beulah (Meadows) of 26 years, daughter Freda and brother Ronald, all of Arkansas, U.S.A; also his step-son Wiley Spracklin of Mt. Pearl, NL. Left with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 25 years, Audrey; daughters Joy Bartlett (Paul) of Burlington, NL and Mirah Kirk of Arkansas; step-daughter Cindy Norman (Darren) and step-daughter-in-law Christine Spracklin; four grandchildren Jonathan (Jessica), Nathanial (Melanie), Rachel and Peter; three step-grandchildren Alex, Danielle and Leslie; brother Gary Hayhurst (Debbie), sister Sharon Robbins (Charles) and sister-in-law Virginia Hayhurst, all of Arkansas; brothers-in-law Allan Bambury (Lorraine) and Albert Bambury (Evelyn); as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Tuesday from 7 p.m . - 9 p.m., on Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 19th, 2012, from Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle, Kenmount Rd. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Special thanks to the team of medical professionals who cared for Jim during his illness.
