The death occurred at the Prince Edward Home on Monday, January 16, 2012, of James Augustine “Gus” Callaghan, of Charlottetown in his 85th year.
Survived by his loving wife Tena, his sisters Grace MacInnis and Gertrude Wilflin and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John Francis and Bridget (Kelly) Callaghan, by his brother and sisters James Callaghan (Mary), Dorothy Creemer (Earl) and Mary Trainor (Frank) and by his brothers-in-law Albert MacInnis and Henry Wilflin.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Friday at 9:45, then to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Fort Augustus. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Cemetery Fund or Knights of Columbus Foreign Mission Fund.
