Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Predeceased by her brothers Francis and Clifford, sisters Catherine Haye and Lily Starling. Leaving to mourn nephews: Francis Fifield (Eileen), Keith Fifield (Christine), and Brent Fifield (Stephanie); nieces: Rosalind Starling, and Carol Noseworthy (Paul); sister-in-law Ruby Fifield; as well as many other relatives and friends. A very sincere thank you to the staff of Agnes Pratt Home (especially Stella Burry Place) for their kindness and compassion to Alice and her family, during her stay of 3 1⁄2 years. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday, January 20, from 2-9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 21, from 10 a.m.-12 noon. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
