LOCKHART, MAYNARD CHARLES - Maynard C. Lockhart, 57, of Bruderheim, Alberta and formerly of Moncton, passed away on January 14, 2012 in Bakersfield, California. Born in Campbellton, he was the son of Joyce (Malcolm) Lockhart and the late Charles Lockhart. A self employed Transport Truck Operator, Maynard had driven across Canada and the USA. He liked to sing and listen to music, enjoyed watching movies and the History Channel, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his mother, Maynard will be sadly missed by his wife, Therese M. Boucher of Bruderheim, AB; stepson, David Boucher (Dorothy) of Fitchburg, Mass.; sisters, Jeannie Lockhart of Moncton, Shelley Lockhart-Lewis (Edward) of Halifax, NS, Phyllis Steeves (Michael) of Dorchester and Jean Stevens of Saint John; brothers, David Lockhart of Edmonton, AB; Bernard Lockhart (Margaret) of Riverview, NB and Andrew Lockhart (Wanda) of Oromocto, NB; and by his two dogs, Vanilla and Teddy. In addition to his father, Maynard was predeceased by an infant brother and an infant sister; brother-in-law, Melvin Stevens.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, followed immediately by the Funeral Service at 1:30 pm at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Campbellton Rural Cemetery, Campbellton, NB.
