HARASYN – Todd David
October 16, 1967 – November 28, 2009
Todd David Harasyn passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the age of 42 years. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Tanya; his parents John and Evelyn Harasyn; his brother Warren (Charmaine) and his special nephews Kyle and Jacob. Todd is also survived by his two step-children Blaine and Kendra Flamont; their mother Charlene Harasyn and his three grandchildren Jessa, Anthony and Emily; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Tom and Lila Henry and John and Marcella Harasyn. Todd was born and raised in Prince Albert and he grew up surrounded by family and friends in the west flat. Todd enjoyed all sports including hunting, fishing, baseball, hockey and golfing. In recent years he owned his own race horses and loved attending and betting on the races. He was an avid traveller and enjoyed travelling with both family and friends. Todd was a journeyman welder and worked mainly in Saskatchewan and Alberta and he was most recently employed with the Pipefitters Union Local 179. Family was very important to Todd and he always made time for everyone. Todd liked to surprise his friends and family with a quick visit. Todd lived his life one day at a time and made the most of everyday. He was full of energy and always brought smiles to everyone around him. His grandpa is happy now that he has his hunting and fishing partner back and his mom mom will be taking good care of him. Rest in peace. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2009 with Mr. Brian Clarke officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2009 with Celebrant Reverend Father Maurice Fiolleau. Both services will be held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Parkland Community Club. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
