Gerald Charles Legge, 62, Fatima Drive, Sydney River, passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Florence (Curtis) Legge and Albert Legge, Sydney.
For 22 years, Gerry served in the Air Force. After retirement, he was employed with the Stream call centre in Glace Bay.
Surviving are his wife, Jean (MacNevin); daughter, Nicole (Kevin) Hewitt, Ontario; son, Scott (Robin), Truro; brother, Harold, Alberta; five grandchildren, Cassandra, Kristin, Elizabeth, Joshua and Anthony; great-granddaughter, Lily.
Gerry was predeceased by his infant sister, Doreen.
There will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place in Alfred Smith Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
