Evelyn Johnston
We, the family of the late Evelyn Johnston would like to express our sincere thanks to our family and friends for the kindness shown to us during the recent loss of our mother and grandmother. To our many friends who phoned, sent flowers, cards, brought food to our homes, sent e-mails, online condolences, donations in Mom’s memory and remembering us in their prayers we are forever grateful. To all those who attended Mom’s visitation and funeral, we thank you to Rev. Jackie MacDonald for the service and to Ben Furey for the beautiful hymns. Thank you to mom’s two granddaughters Amber and Sherry Johnston for their wonderful tribute to their grandmother. Thank you to her nephew, Gilbert Timmons for his beautiful hymn and his reading of 23rd psalm. Thank you to her grandson (Danny Lund) and granddaughter (Jamie Lund-Sheppard who sent their love and support while being unable to be with us. Thank you to the pallbearers Donald MacPherson, Dean and Mark Johnston (grandsons) Valarie Lund MacPherson and Kelly Johnston (granddaughters) and Clifton Fraser (great nephew). Thank you to Dorothy Fraser (her niece), who kept a watchful eye on Mom when she lived in her apartment. Thank you to the staff on 3B who were so good to Mom and especially Tony Leudy for his excellent attention and wonderful care. Bless you Tony your excellent care made our burden lighter. To the staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel and Wayne Weatherbee, your professionalism truly helped us through a very difficult time. To one and all our humble thanks.
