STELLARTON/BRIDGEVILLE – Wilma “Kathleen†(Fraser) Cameron, age 94, of Stellarton, and formerly of Bridgeville, Pictou County, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 30th, 2009.
Born in Prince Albert, Sask. on June 15th, 1915, Kathleen was a daughter of the late John Dan and Katherine (MacDonald) Fraser.
Kathleen moved to Bridgeville as a young child where she lived most of her life. She taught school in Bridgeville, Caledonia, Linacy and Quebec City. Kathleen was a member of the Bridgeville United Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Brian Campbell, Stellarton; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Ann Cameron, Bridgeville; grandchildren, Sheila (Calum) MacPherson; and great-grandchildren: Christy and Duncan MacPherson, Scotland; Duncan (Jennifer) Cameron, Bridgeville; Neil Cameron, Scotland; Bradley, Lori and Steven Campbell, Calgary; sister-in-law, Anna Fraser, Charlottetown; several nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Hoyes Cameron; a sister, Helen; and a brother, Donald “Don.â€
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Bridgeville United Church with Rev. Heather Landry officiating. Family burial will take place in the Bridgeville Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Kathleen may be made to the Bridgeville United Church or to a charity of one’s choice.
