On Thursday, January 26, 2012 we lost our Precious Little Princess, Kira-Hope Diamond Barnes at her home in Corner Brook at the age of 5 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her mother Charlene Barnes; father Peter Brown; brothers: Christopher and Stephen Barnes; grandparents Elaine Barnes (Taylor Crocker), Chris Dalaney, Bud and Wanda Sullivan; aunts and uncles: Laura (Brian) Joyce, Taylor Barnes, Trevor Sullivan, Joseph Sullivan and Stephanie (Brendan) Judge; cousins: Alexis, Connor and Kieran; as well as a large circle of great aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. A very special thank you to all of Kira-Hope’s home care workers for all their love and support over the years. Friends may visit Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox’s Cove on Friday and Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor William Sampson officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
