Passed away suddenly but peacefully at St. Luke’s Nursing Home on Thursday, January 26, 2012, Stella Margaret Kennedy, aged 97 years. Predeceased by her husband Leo and infant son John. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Mary Elizabeth Kennedy and Geraldine King (David Earles); grandchildren: Jennifer Barrett (Derrick), Susan Brocklehurst (John), Andrea King (Hugh Wilkinson) and Stephen King (Merissa Wiseman); great-grandchildren: Matthew and Evan Barrett, Garrett and Lily Brocklehurst, Vivienne Wilkinson; niece Susan Button of Montreal. Also leaving to mourn her special friends at St. Luke’s Nursing Home. Special thank you to the nurses and staff at St. Luke’s Home for their loving care. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012. Funeral service to be held from St. Patrick’s Parish on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow the service. Interment to be held at a later date. No flowers by request.
