KNAPPER, WESLEY - 1926 -2012 - Wesley Knapper passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness at his residence on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Born in Moncton, son of the late Albert and Mary (McQuinn) Knapper. Wesley was a Veteran of WWII where he served in Canada. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his wife Eileen (Carey) Knapper of 43 years, three children; Norma Knapper, John Knapper and Fred Knapper all of British Columbia as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Wesley was predeceased by one daughter Laura three brothers; Ken, Frank and Albert, three sisters; Albina, Dorothy and Louise as well as the mother of his children, Frances.
A legion service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 1:45 pm followed by visitation from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Interment will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of the donor's choice.
