Passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 28, 2009, Grace Marie Wadden, age 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Donald (Don). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Valerie Steen, Mukilteo, Washington; son Kurt Steen, St. John’s; brother William (Hilda), St. John’s; step-sons: Don Wadden and Tony Wadden, St. John’s, Robert (Erin) Wadden, Ottawa, ON; step-daughter Helen Reid (Clyde), Ottawa, ON; nephews: Keith Peddle, St. John’s and Francis Peddle, Ottawa, ON; step-grandsons: Jack Wadden and Joseph Wadden, Ottawa ON; brother-in-law Paul Wadden, St. John’s; sister-in-law Mary Toberman, Hamilton, ON; as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 10-12 noon Wednesday. Funeral service from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
