MACNAB, Marjorie Paterson (nee Cheshire) – It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie MacNab announces her death on January 25, 2012 at the age of 91. Born in Birkenhead, England in 1920, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband James, in 1990. Lovingly remembered by her sister Anne Allum, and her extended family in England, son Gordon (Eileen) and her daughters, Jacqueline, Carol (Bill Matthews) and Suzanne (Paul Conway), all of St. John’s; grandchildren: Ashley MacNab (Rod Walsh), Alex MacNab (Rodrigo Sala), Vic MacNab (Christina Winter), Jane Matthews, Sarah Matthews (Pascal Milord), Daniel Matthews, Dennis Conway (Susanne Gulliver), Michael Conway (Pamela Pike); great-grandchildren: Kate and James Walsh, Claire MacNab, Havie and Genevieve Carter, Sebby and Andy Milord and Lloyd Conway. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road where friends are welcome to visit on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
