On Monday, November 6, 2006 Mrs. Esther Amelia Semograd of Kamloops passed away at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her husband Mike, her three sons Harvey (Paula) of Lacombe, Alberta, Norman (Barbara) of Williams Lake and Dean (Sandra) of Kamloops, his daughter Brenda (Bob) Flinn of Vernon and nine grandchildren. She also leaves to cherish her memory her brother Harold Pierson of Bieseker, Alberta. Mrs. Semograd was predeceased by her son Brent in 1988 and her daughter Altheia in 1960. Mrs. Semograd was born in Red Deer, Alberta on April 29, 1924. She has made her home in Kamloops for the past 15 years. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Emergency, the Intensive Care Unit and 3 West at Royal Inland Hospital, with special thanks to Dr. Tim Schmidt. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with Pastor Doug Laughton officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
