Tuff
Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Brookfield Hospital. Thomas Tuff age 88 years of Wesleyville. Predeceased by his parents; George and Julia Tuff, wife; Clara, Sons; Stephen and George, sister; Alfreda, brothers; Roland and Jabez, sisters-in-law; Elizabeth and Margaret, brothers-in-law; Obediah, Augustus and Charles. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his son; Chesley (Gloria) of Vancouver, B.C., daughters; Elizabeth (Eli Parsons) of Indian Bay, Christine (Barry Kean) of Wesleyville, Alfreda (Garry Goodyear) of Templeman, Brenda (Craig Burry) of Wesleyville, daughters-in-law; Linda Tuff of Badger’s Quay and Valerie Goodyear of St. John’s, sisters-in-law; Alfreda Cooze, Emma Howell both of Templeman, Clara Howell of St. John’s, grandchildren; Darlene, Tina, Scott, Shannon, Julieann, Justin, Johanna, Angela, Brittany and Myles, great-grandchildren; Katie, Peter, Marcus, Claire, Jack, Connor and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service was held on January 27, 2012 at St. Mark’s United Church, Templeman with Revs Lorne and Roberta Bungay officiating. Interment followed at The United Church Cemetery, Templeman. Donations in his memory may be made to The Canadian Lung Association or to St. Mark’s United Church Cemetery Fund, Templeman.
