It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cyril Billard announces his passing on Saturday January 28, 2012 at Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 78 years.
Born in Margaree, Cyril was the son of the late Peter and Emma Billard. He was also predeceased by his loving wife Audrey (nee Kendell) on August 20, 2007, daughter Jeanette, grandson Michael, granddaughter Rebecca. Sister Olive Northcott, brothers in law; Freeman Northcott, Augustus Walters, sister in law Phyllis Billard.
He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his children; Roslyn (Perry) Warren Fox Roost, Sharon (John W) Billard, Sandra Billard (Darrell Neil), and April Billard all of Margaree. Son Roger (Beulah) Billard Fort St. John BC. Grandchildren; Junior (Jennifer) Billard Margaree, Desmond Billard (Jody Dixon) Fort St. John BC, Nicholas and Maria Warren Fox Roost, Aaron Neil Sherbrooke NS. Great grandchildren Tanner and Marissa Billard. Sisters; Annie Walters, Ruby (Marvin) Currie, brothers; Henry Billard, Roland Billard, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation took place on Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday at St. Augustine's Anglican Church in Margaree. Funeral services took place on Wednesday February 1st , 2 PM at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Duncan Granter. Interment followed at St. Augustine's Anglican Cemetery.
